Questions

Do I need my own model subscriptions?

Yes. Consortium is a control surface over the agent CLI you already run, using your own credentials for that agent. It does not resell model access, so whatever you pay Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or xAI is unchanged and separate.

Can I bring my own provider keys?

Yes. Consortium wraps the agent CLI rather than proxying model traffic, so your existing keys and subscriptions are used as-is.

Can I self-host instead?

Yes. The server can run on your own infrastructure so no session data transits hardware you do not control. Contact licensing@consortium.dev for commercial self-hosting terms.
